Project Management Lead - Global Services Delivery

This is a challenging role where you will be responsible for the successful execution of IT service projects. You will oversee and manage project-based teams, combining leadership in project delivery management responsibilities with fostering a high-performance culture.

You will lead and oversee the successful delivery of IT service projects, ensuring alignment with scope, timelines, and budgets. This includes defining project objectives, deliverables, and success criteria while managing project lifecycles. You will track and report project progress using standardized dashboards and KPIs.

You are also responsible for ensuring that all projects meet contractual SLA obligations and internal performance standards. If there are any issues, you will conduct root cause analyses and implement mitigation strategies to avoid recurrence.

In addition, you will act as the primary liaison for customers on project-related issues, updates, and escalations. You will regularly conduct project reviews and feedback sessions with clients to enhance satisfaction and retention.

Furthermore, you will monitor service delivery metrics and take corrective/preventive actions as needed. You will assign, manage, and oversee project-specific team resources, ensuring optimal utilization and alignment with project goals.

You will foster team engagement, collaboration, and motivation to maintain a high-performance culture. You will identify training needs and coordinate professional development opportunities to enhance team skills and capabilities. Additionally, you will develop succession plans and career paths for team members to align with organizational goals.

This role requires strong leadership, conflict resolution, and decision-making abilities. You must have exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to effectively communicate and build relationships with clients and teams.

The ideal candidate should have a proven track record in managing projectized environments, IT service delivery, and people management. They should have demonstrated success in leading and developing diverse teams.

Prior experience in project management frameworks such as Agile or Waterfall is essential. Proficiency in team management tools like ServiceNow, Jira, or Microsoft Project is also required. Strong analytical and reporting skills are necessary for this role.

Key Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in IT, Project Management, or a related field.
  • Certifications: PMP, PRINCE2, ITIL, or Agile certifications are required.
  • At least 8 years of experience in Service delivery in EUC, Networking, and similar roles in IT Managed services.
  • Proven experience in managing projectized environments, IT service delivery, and people management.
  • Demonstrated success in leading and developing diverse teams.
