Procurement Professional Job Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled Procurement Professional to join our team in India. This role will be responsible for managing the procurement process, ensuring timely and cost-effective delivery of materials.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Purchase Order Management: Issue purchase orders to vendors and ensure prompt order confirmation and payment coordination with suppliers.
  • Vendor Coordination: Coordinate with vendors for material delivery status updates.
  • Reporting and Analysis: Generate and review reports on open purchase orders and shortages.
  • Process Efficiency: Execute core procurement processes efficiently and accurately for assigned products.
  • Service Level Management: Meet or exceed desired service levels and inventory targets as defined for the products assigned.
  • Change Management: Coordinate with internal business partners, requestors, and suppliers for purchase order changes.
  • Sourcing: Select suppliers for new orders in accordance with approved purchasing strategies.
  • Supplier Database Management: Manage supplier databases.
  • Continuous Improvement: Identify, recommend, and implement operational efficiencies to drive continuous improvement in procurement processes.
  • Problem Resolution: Perform root cause analysis to expedite service issue resolution.
Requirements:
  • Education: Bachelor's Degree or Engineering Graduate Experience: 8-10 years in procurement and supply chain experience preferred.
  • Software Applications: Mandatory knowledge of MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and PF.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent communication skills required.
  • Domain Experience: Experience in order processing, supply chain management, order management, and procurement end-to-end preferred.
  • ERP Knowledge: Knowledge of ERP systems, preferably BAAN.
  • Industry Experience: Experience in the manufacturing industry, preferably in electronics.
  • Office Software: Knowledge of MS Office and Outlook.
  • Analytical Skills: Good analytical skills required.
