Expert Terraform Automation Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Terraform automation expert to review and optimize codebases for Cisco SD-WAN deployments across multiple data centers and branch offices.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Evaluate configuration templates, policies, automation workflows, and state management practices to provide best practice recommendations.
  • Deliver comprehensive review reports to stakeholders.
  • Conduct remote knowledge transfer sessions with clients' technical teams to ensure seamless integration of Terraform into their environments.
Requirements:
  • Strong hands-on expertise with Terraform modules, variables, templates, and IaC workflows.
  • Deep understanding of Cisco SD-WAN components, including vManage, vSmart, vBond, device templates, and policies.
  • Ability to assess and optimize state management strategies, such as remote backends, locking, and workspaces.
  • Experience integrating Terraform with CI/CD pipelines and version control systems like Git, SharePoint, or Azure DevOps.
  • Familiarity with network automation best practices and SD-WAN deployment models.
  • Excellent troubleshooting, documentation, and analytical skills.
  • Strong communication skills for effective remote collaboration and client interaction.
Qualifications:
  • 7+ years of experience in Infrastructure Automation or Network Automation engineering roles.
  • 3+ years of proven hands-on experience with Terraform in production environments.
  • Practical experience with Cisco SD-WAN automation, templates, and policies.
  • Prior exposure to enterprise-scale multi-site WAN deployments is preferred.
