Job Description

Our organization is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Hosting Product Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our hosting operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the stability and uptime of our products.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Monitor the stability of our products using various internal tools and software.
  • Provide Level 1 and Level 2 support ownership for all hosting products including cpanel, plesk, vps, cloud, and dedicated servers.
  • Handle incident response, troubleshooting, and resolution for various products and services.
  • Manage escalations according to policies and procedures.
  • Collaborate with internal and external teams to resolve production site issues effectively.
  • Communicate clearly on tickets, phone calls, and other forms of correspondence regarding various issues.
  • Exhibit a sense of urgency in resolving issues to ensure timely completion.
  • Develop advanced automation workflows to automate repeated issues and optimize productivity.
  • Work closely with the infrastructure team to deploy and maintain Linux and Windows servers using automated scripts and a predefined runbook.
  • Ensure Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and operational standards are consistently met.
  • Raise tickets to internal groups to resolve recurrent problems, alerts, and follow up on escalated issues.
  • Liaise with engineering teams to perform Root Cause Analyses (RCAs), implement permanent resolutions for issues affecting production sites.
  • Contribute to the development and maintenance of our Operations Handbook.
  • Ensure seamless hand-offs between shifts and teams.
