Job Overview">

We're seeking an accomplished Software Development Engineer in Test to join our distributed systems team. As a key member, you'll be responsible for ensuring the high-quality release of our on-premises management platform.

In this role, you will:

  • Design and implement robust automation frameworks
  • Validate complex workflows across hybrid environments
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to maintain enterprise-grade standards

Key Responsibilities

You will be responsible for developing comprehensive test plans and test cases covering:

  • Cluster lifecycle management
  • Security (TLS, LDAP, RBAC)
  • Networking and platform integrations

In addition, you will:

  • Build and maintain automation frameworks for REST APIs, UI testing, system-level and end-to-end workflows
  • Perform performance and scalability testing across VM-based deployments and Kubernetes environments
  • Validate enterprise-grade scenarios like backup and restore, air-gapped installs, software upgrades
  • Collaborate with developers, product managers, and QA engineers to drive quality from design to release
  • Reproduce and debug complex, production-like issues
  • Own the quality gates for builds and releases
  • Continuously improve the test infrastructure, tools, and processes
Required Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you should have:

  • 3–5 years of experience in automation testing, preferably in infrastructure, database, or enterprise software
  • Strong programming skills in Python and Java
  • Experience testing distributed systems or microservices
  • Hands-on experience with Kubernetes, Helm, Docker, hybrid environments, REST APIs, PostgreSQL, cloud-native technologies, and CI/CD pipelines
