Procurement Operations Specialist

The primary focus of this position is to manage day-to-day procurement operations processes, encompassing tasks such as purchase requisition to purchase order conversion, fixed asset creation and capitalization, supplier re-certification, contract drafting, and system updates. This role requires experience in procurement operations with exposure to both product and services procurement.
The ideal candidate should possess a thorough understanding of procurement processes and have experience working with P2P tools like Ariba/Coupa and ERP systems like SAP/Oracle. They should also have worked on operations related to purchase requisition to purchase order conversion and standard contract templates.
This role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams, including accounts payable, vendor risk management, and information security. The Procurement Operations Manager will also be responsible for documenting processes, building and maintaining desktop procedures, and analyzing data to drive issue resolution and process improvements.
They will work closely with category managers to contribute to key performance metrics, such as Service Level Agreement (SLA), quality, and efficiency. Additionally, they will handle customer issues along the contract execution path and provide due clarity and support to internal partners on procurement policies and standard methodologies.
Key qualifications for this role include a bachelor's degree in any subject area and around 5-7 years of validated experience in procurement operations. The ideal candidate should have solid understanding of intermediate to advanced Excel and professional-level proficiency in English.
