The Role

Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Storage Administrator to join our team. As a key member of the IT department, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining enterprise storage solutions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design, implement, and maintain data replication strategies using IBM replication technologies and Net App.
  • Administer, configure, and troubleshoot IBM Flash System 7300 (FS7300) and IBM SVC environments.
  • Manage and optimize Net App C Series storage arrays, including provisioning, performance tuning, and capacity planning.
  • Implement and manage Veritas Net Backup 11 solutions.
  • Administer and troubleshoot Net Backup Flex Scale and Net Backup Flex Appliances.
  • Configure, monitor, and troubleshoot Brocade SAN switches.

You will have strong knowledge and practical experience with Inter-Switch Links (ISL) configuration and optimization, as well as the ability to execute switch replacements and upgrades in a production environment with minimal downtime.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Minimum 7+ years of hands-on experience as a Storage Administrator.
  • Strong expertise in IBM Storage: IBM Flash System 7300 (FS7300) and IBM SVC.
  • Strong expertise in Net App Storage: Net App C Series and Snap Mirror replication.
  • Strong expertise in Veritas Net Backup 11: Including Net Backup Flex Scale and Net Backup Flex Appliances.
  • Strong knowledge of IBM replication technologies.
  • Proven experience with Brocade SAN switches: Including ISL configuration and switch replacement procedures.
  • Solid understanding of Fibre Channel protocols, zoning, and multipathing.
  • Experience with performance analysis and tuning of storage systems.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
