Job Summary

As a Senior Quality Assurance Specialist, you will play a vital role in ensuring the reliability and integrity of our applications.

The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills, excellent problem-solving abilities, and proficiency in SQL, Python, and advanced Excel techniques.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform regression testing to verify new changes do not impact existing functionality
  • Design, maintain, and execute detailed test cases scripts and validation checks aligned with business and technical requirements
  • Conduct data validation, reconciliation, and analysis across multiple systems and sources
  • Utilize advanced SQL, Python, and Excel skills to perform data extraction, transformation, validation, and reporting
  • Collaborate with business analysts, developers, and stakeholders to clarify requirements and resolve issues
  • Document, track, and manage defects using JIRA, ensuring timely resolution
  • Continuously improve testing processes, frameworks, and automation opportunities
  • Support test planning strategy and execution within Agile Waterfall environments

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in regression testing with strong defect identification and troubleshooting skills
  • Strong proficiency in SQL, Python, and advanced Excel for data validation and analysis
  • Experience working with JIRA or similar defect tracking tools
  • Strong knowledge of SDLC testing methodologies and best practices
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with test automation frameworks and scripting
  • Exposure to performance load testing
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
