Highly Experienced Solution Architect Needed for Video Product Expertise

Job Overview

We are seeking a highly experienced and hands-on solution architect to join our team through Acme Services. This pivotal role is for an architect with extensive experience in building video products, particularly for massive scale OTT (Over-The-Top) platforms.

Key Responsibilities
  • OTT Platform Architecture: Lead the hands-on product architecture for a massive scale OTT platform, ensuring scalability, performance, and reliability.
  • End-to-End System Design: Drive the application/end-to-end architecture for video products, from conceptualization to deployment, covering all system components.
  • Video Product Expertise: Apply deep knowledge in building and optimizing video products, understanding the nuances of content delivery, streaming, and user experience at scale.
  • Cloud & Infrastructure: Utilize experience with Hybrid Cloud deployments to design resilient and flexible infrastructure solutions.
  • Backend & Workflow Optimization: Provide architectural leadership for Backend Systems and Customer Support Workflows, ensuring efficiency and seamless operations.
  • D2C Application Development: Contribute to the architecture and development of Direct-to-Consumer (D2C) applications, focusing on user experience and business objectives.
  • Technical Leadership: Provide technical guidance and mentorship to development teams, fostering best practices in software design and implementation.
  • Innovation & Scalability: Research and recommend new technologies and architectural patterns to support future growth and enhance platform capabilities.
Required Skills & Qualifications
  • Minimum 15 years of application/end-to-end architecture experience in building video products.
  • Extensive experience as a hands-on product architect for large-scale platforms.
  • Proven track record with massive scale OTT platform architecture.
  • Experience with Hybrid Cloud deployments.
  • Knowledge of Video Pipeline architecture.
  • Expertise in Backend Systems design.
  • Familiarity with Customer Support Workflows.
  • Experience in D2C (Direct-to-Consumer) applications development.
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Proven leadership in software architecture, particularly in the media or streaming industry.
  • Strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
