About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled CICS Systems Programmer to join our team. As a CICS System Administrator, you will be responsible for performing complex system programming and administration activities.

The ideal candidate will have experience in handling CICS version upgrades, Transaction Server upgrades, and SMP/E maintenance activities.

You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth operations and provide support for z/OS Connect.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform CICS systems programming and administration activities.
  • Handle CICS version upgrades, CICS TS upgrades, and Transaction Server upgrades.
  • Execute CICS maintenance activities using SMP/E.
  • Manage CICS RDO – define and manage CICS resources online/offline.
  • Create, configure, and sunset CICS regions as required.
  • Modify CICS configurations and troubleshoot issues.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth operations.
  • Provide support for z/OS Connect.
Required Skills
  • Strong knowledge of CICS Systems Programming.
  • Expertise in z/OS, JCL, REXX, VSAM, Endevor, CA7, ServiceNow, and z/OS Explorer.
  • Experience with CICS upgrades and maintenance via SMP/E.
  • Good troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
