**About the Opportunity**Rickshaw Studios is seeking a skilled Senior Unreal Game Programmer to drive gameplay and mechanics development. You will play a key role in defining technical vision, collaborating closely with designers and artists to bring the game to life. As a senior, you will guide the programming team, ensure high-quality code, and contribute to the overall direction of the project.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with game designers, artists, and other stakeholders to understand project requirements, gameplay mechanics, and technical specifications.
  • Develop complex gameplay systems, mechanics, and features using Unreal Engine, ensuring they align with the project's vision and objectives.
  • Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback to ensure code quality, performance, and maintainability.
  • Collaborate with the technical team to solve complex technical challenges, optimize performance, and improve the overall quality of the game.
  • Mentor and provide guidance to junior developers, fostering their growth and development in Unreal Engine and game development practices.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of development processes, tools, and workflows, identifying opportunities for increased efficiency and productivity.
**Required Skills and Qualifications**
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Proven experience as a Senior Unreal Game Developer or similar role, with a strong portfolio of completed projects.
  • Extensive experience with Unreal Engine and a deep understanding of its core systems, Blueprints, and C++ programming.
  • Strong leadership and mentoring abilities, with a passion for sharing knowledge and fostering a collaborative team environment.
