We are seeking a visionary to establish our infrastructure foundation. This role requires technical expertise in designing and implementing cloud platforms, creating secure and scalable systems, and building cost-effective solutions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Infrastructure Development
    • Design and architect our cloud platform on GCP from scratch, making critical decisions on network topology, data encryption strategies, and scalability.
    • Create a robust CI/CD pipeline that enables rapid deployment and minimizes downtime.
    • Develop our infrastructure-as-code foundation using Terraform, establishing patterns for future growth.
  • Security and Compliance Architecture
    • Lead our SOC2 compliance journey by integrating security into every layer of our infrastructure.
    • Implement customer-managed encryption and zero-trust networking as foundational principles.
    • Create automated security scanning and remediation systems to ensure compliance transparency.
  • Developer Platform Creation
    • Build a self-service platform enabling developers to provision infrastructure quickly and efficiently.
    • Create golden paths that prioritize secure and scalable choices.
    • Design observability systems granting developers real-time visibility in production.
  • Scale Preparation
    • Architect systems capable of handling 100x growth without significant rewrites.
    • Incorporate cost optimization into our DNA, making informed resource decisions early on.
    • Develop disaster recovery and backup systems proactively.
