SAT/ACT English Faculty Position

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced teacher to provide personalized academic delivery and support to students preparing for the SAT and/or ACT at EducoHire.

Job Description

As a SAT/ACT English Faculty member, you will be responsible for:

  • Conducting one-on-one or small group tutoring sessions with students enrolled in our tutoring programs.
  • Developing personalized lesson plans and teaching strategies to meet the individual needs of each student.
  • Assisting students in understanding difficult concepts and helping them develop effective test-taking strategies.
  • Reviewing and providing feedback on students' work.
  • Fostering a supportive and encouraging learning environment that promotes academic growth and confidence.
  • Staying up-to-date with changes and updates to the curriculum and assessment criteria.
  • Communicating regularly with students, parents, and school faculty to track progress and address any concerns.
  • Providing guidance and advice to students on study skills, time management, and effective learning strategies.
  • Collaborating with other tutors and educators to share best practices and resources.
  • Participating in professional development opportunities to enhance teaching skills and knowledge.
Requirements

To be considered for this position, you should have:

  • A minimum Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (English), with a Master's preferred.
  • Previous experience teaching or tutoring SAT/ACT students required.
  • In-depth knowledge of the curriculum, including subject-specific requirements and assessment criteria.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to connect with students of diverse backgrounds and learning styles.
  • Patience, empathy, and a passion for helping students succeed academically.
  • Excellent organizational skills and the ability to plan and deliver effective tutoring sessions.
  • Flexibility and adaptability to accommodate the changing needs of students and the curriculum.
  • A commitment to professional growth and continuous learning.
Salary and Benefits

The estimated salary range for this position is $40,000 - $60,000 per year, depending on qualifications and experience. We also offer benefits such as scope for domestic and international growth, and opportunities for professional development and advancement.
