Marketing Director - Pharma Sector

We are seeking a seasoned Marketing Director to spearhead our marketing efforts in the pharmaceutical sector. This strategic leadership role will be responsible for developing and executing comprehensive marketing strategies, managing high-performing teams, and driving business growth.

About the Role

The ideal candidate will possess deep knowledge of pharmaceutical marketing, with a proven track record of success in similar roles. Key responsibilities include:

  • Leading market planning and in-depth market research to identify new opportunities and optimize current efforts
  • Driving sales initiatives in collaboration with the sales team to meet or exceed revenue targets
  • Mentoring and growing the marketing team, ensuring high performance and continuous development
  • Coordinating with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth execution of marketing plans

In addition, the successful candidate will have:

  • A Master's or Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field (MBA preferred)
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry with a focus on marketing and/or sales
  • Proven expertise in market planning, market research, and marketing management
  • Demonstrated success in team leadership and achieving sales targets
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills

Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute comprehensive marketing strategies aligned with business objectives.
- Conduct market planning and in-depth market research to identify new opportunities and optimize current efforts.
- Drive sales initiatives in collaboration with the sales team to meet or exceed revenue targets.
- Manage, mentor, and grow the marketing team, ensuring high performance and continuous development.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams including sales, product development, and regulatory to ensure smooth execution of marketing plans.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to adjust marketing strategies accordingly.
- Prepare and manage budgets for marketing projects and campaigns.
- Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and other networking & Requirements:
