Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled Search Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will design and implement advanced search solutions using OpenSearch/Elasticsearch.

Our ideal candidate has experience with AI/ML/LLM powered search experiences and expert level expertise in Python, with experience building APIs (preferably FastAPI).

The successful candidate will have a deep understanding of search concepts: analysers, tokenisers, relevance tuning, custom scoring, and query DSL.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Design & implement search solutions
  • Index & template management
  • Query pipeline development
  • AI/ML/LLM powered search
  • API development
  • Testing & quality assurance

Requirements:

  • 5+ years experience with Elasticsearch or OpenSearch in production environments
  • Experience with AI/ML-based search experiences
  • Expert level expertise in Python
  • Deep understanding of search concepts
  • Experience with index template management
