This role involves performance modeling, component evaluation, preparing engineering documentation, and collaborating with teams and regulatory bodies.

  • Design and optimize solar energy systems while participating in design reviews and cross-functional meetings">
  • Utilize design software to model system performance and adapt designs based on project needs and technological advancements">
  • Prepare and maintain engineering documentation, ensuring adherence to safety, quality, and industry standards">
  • Conduct feasibility studies and site assessments to support project development and progress">
  • Evaluate and select solar components, analysing performance data to recommend improvements">
  • Stay current with industry trends and technologies, adapting to new tools and techniques in solar design">
  • Collaborate with regulatory bodies to secure permits and ensure projects meet safety and environmental regulations">

Requirements:

Bachelor's or master's degree in electrical engineering

">

Technical skills and experience: AutoCAD, MS Office, Aurora Solar or other solar-specific design tools

">

Experience in managing design projects from conception to implementation

">

Understanding of solar energy systems and their integration into existing infrastructure

">

4+ years of experience in Design/ Electrical engineering, with a focus on solar energy projects

">

Management experience a plus

">

Exceptional verbal and writing communication skills with superiors, peers, partners, and other stakeholders

Physical Demands:
