Job Title: Pre-Clinical Pathology Lab Executive

Key Responsibilities:
  • Planning and execution of blood collection from laboratory animals.
  • Monitoring anesthesia/euthanasia of laboratory animals.
  • Planning necropsy examinations.
  • Preparing and conducting necropsy examinations of laboratory animals.
  • Conducting tissue trimming, processing, block making, sectioning, slide staining for various studies.
  • Histopathological slide reading for toxicity and efficacy studies.
  • Monitoring Histopathological slide preparation.
  • Slide reading and Histopathological report preparation for Pre-clinical studies.
  • Conducting clinical chemistry, hematology, coagulation parameters, and urine analysis.
  • Implementing and maintaining quality control checks for in-house biochemical analysis.
  • Preparing SOPs for pathology areas.
Individual Job Responsibilities:
  • Availability of required chemicals and materials for projects.
  • Reviewing RQA comments on SOPs, Protocols, Reports, and study audits.
  • Planning and executing health monitoring of animal and employee health.
  • Collection and analysis/dispatch of samples for various analyses.
  • Calibration and preventive maintenance schedules for pathology lab equipment.

Job Requirements:

We are seeking an experienced professional with strong expertise in pre-clinical pathology laboratory management. The ideal candidate will have a background in veterinary or biological sciences, with significant experience in laboratory settings.

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Strong knowledge of laboratory protocols and procedures.
  • Ability to plan and execute blood collection, necropsy examinations, and histopathological slide preparation.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience with laboratory information management systems (LIMS).
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
