Business Development Specialist

You will play a crucial role in identifying and assessing potential students who are interested in studying abroad. Your primary responsibility will be to evaluate and qualify leads generated from various sources, ensuring that only the most relevant and high-potential prospects move forward in the enrollment process.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Evaluate inbound leads from various sources and determine their eligibility and potential for study abroad programs.
  • Engage with prospective students via calls, emails, and messages to understand their interests, academic backgrounds, financial readiness, and study abroad goals.
  • Identify high-intent leads and categorize them based on their potential, ensuring that only qualified prospects are passed to the counseling or sales team.
  • Maintain and update CRM systems with accurate lead information, follow-up status, and key insights for better tracking and conversion.
  • Nurture unqualified or undecided leads by providing relevant information and resources to keep them engaged for future opportunities.
  • Work closely with counselors and business development teams to align lead qualification processes with overall enrollment strategies.
Qualifications:
  • 0 to 1 Year of experience in a similar role (added advantage if you come from a sales background).
  • Involvement in college communities, clubs, and the like is a plus point.
  • Remarkable communication and persuasion skills.
  • Enthusiasm and willingness to work in a fast-paced, evolving start-up.
