Expert Data Architect Position

We are seeking a skilled and visionary data architect to spearhead the design, development, and implementation of our enterprise-wide data infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of cloud-based technologies and be able to drive innovation while ensuring scalability, security, and compliance.

Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop robust, scalable, and secure data architectures that meet business requirements.
  • Lead the implementation of data solutions on various cloud platforms.
  • Define and enforce data governance, quality, and security standards.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand needs and translate them into technical solutions.
  • Evaluate new technologies and tools to improve our data infrastructure and practices.
  • Create and maintain detailed documentation of data architecture, data flows, and processes.
  • Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior team members.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Overall 8-12 years of experience with 3+ years of experience in data architecture or a similar role.
  • Proven expertise in designing and implementing data solutions on at least one major cloud platform.
  • Solid understanding of cloud-native data services such as Redshift, S3, Glue, Athena, and EMR.
  • Experience with big data technologies (e.g., Spark, Hadoop) and data warehousing concepts.
  • Strong knowledge of SQL, ETL/ELT processes, and data modeling techniques.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with DevOps practices and tools (e.g., CI/CD pipelines, Terraform, Docker, Kubernetes).
  • Knowledge of data governance tools and practices.
  • Certification in one or more cloud platforms (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Microsoft Certified: Azure Data Engineer, Google Professional Data Engineer).
