Job Title

We are seeking a highly skilled professional to join our team as a Senior Risk Analyst.

  • The ideal candidate will have 6 years of experience in catastrophe modeling and treaty modeling, preferably with insurance or reinsurance experience.
  • A strong background in analytical skills, Excel manipulation, and VBA programming is required.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work well under pressure are essential for this role.

Responsibilities:

  1. Manage a team of analysts and provide guidance on risk assessment and data analysis.
  2. Develop and maintain exposure databases and analyze them for completeness and accuracy.
  3. Collaborate with underwriters to ensure accurate account pricing and timely completion of projects.
  4. Contribute to process enhancement and improvement initiatives.

Requirements:

  • 6 years' experience in cat modeling/treaty modeling, preferably with insurance/reinsurance experience.
  • Exposure to AIR Touchstone, SQL, MS Office proficiency.
  • Excellent analytical skills.
  • Excel manipulation and functions at an advanced level is a must.
  • Good problem-solving skills.
  • Insurance certification/insurance projects in dissertation.
  • Advance Excel/VBA programming language.
  • Team management skills.
