Financial Leadership Opportunity

We are seeking a highly analytical and detail-oriented professional to oversee our company's financial planning processes. This role requires a strategic thinker with a strong understanding of business drivers and financial metrics.

About the Role

  1. Strategic Financial Planning: Develop our annual financial plan, long-range forecasts, and rolling projections.
  2. Financial Analysis & Reporting: Prepare, analyze, and present financial results, trends, and key performance indicators (KPIs) to senior leadership.
  3. Business Partnership: Collaborate with department heads to understand business needs, track performance, and drive operational efficiency.
  4. Variance Analysis: Conduct monthly variance analysis comparing actual results to forecasts and budgets, identifying drivers and recommending corrective actions.
  5. Executive Reporting: Deliver high-quality presentations and dashboards to support board meetings and executive reviews.
  6. Scenario Modeling: Develop and maintain financial models to assess business scenarios, investment opportunities, and risk analysis.
  7. Process Improvement: Enhance financial planning processes, tools, and systems to increase forecasting accuracy, automation, and efficiency.
  8. Team Leadership: Mentor and manage the team, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.

Requirements

  • CA, MBA with 20 years of progressive experience in corporate finance, business finance or FP&A.
  • Proven track record of successfully leading and implementing process improvement initiatives.
  • Strong understanding of business process mapping with ERP/accounting software experience.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Effective communication, collaboration, and leadership abilities.
  • Experience managing cross-functional projects is a plus.
  • Experience with Six Sigma, Lean, or other process improvement methodologies.
