Job Title

  • The Financial Planning and Analysis Manager will oversee the financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and performance analysis for various teams within a global organization.
Responsibilities

  1. Lead the financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting processes for supported teams.
  2. Manage the preparation and delivery of accurate financial reports and dashboards.
  3. Conduct variance analysis to identify trends, risks, and opportunities.
  4. Provide and present meaningful, concise, and clear analysis to senior management on financial challenges and performances.
  5. Partner with global finance teams to provide actionable insights that drive business performance.
  6. Drive process improvements and standardization initiatives to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
  7. Ensure compliance with corporate reporting standards and local regulations.
  8. Be an SME and mentor COE team members on FP&A principles and operating procedures.
  9. Proactively look at standardization and Automation opportunities across different Product Lines and Regions.
  10. Support the implementation and maintenance of financial systems and tools.
  11. Handle ad-hoc financial analysis and strategic projects as required.
Requirements

Experience

  • A minimum of 9 years of experience in financial planning and analysis or related roles.
  • Preferably experience in a COE or shared services environment.
  • Proven ability to manage global stakeholders and cross-functional teams.
Education

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
  • CA, MBA, CPA, or CFA is a plus.
Skills

  • Proficiency in financial modeling, budgeting, and forecasting.
  • Expertise in ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and BI tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau).
  • Knowledge of automation tools and process improvement methodologies.
  • Familiarity with financial regulations, including Indian GAAP, IFRS, and SOX compliance.
Soft Skills

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and presentation abilities.
  • Effective leadership and team management skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with global teams.
  • High adaptability to dynamic business environments.
