As a vital member of our Audit team, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional services to our financial services group. Your primary objective will be to build strong relationships with clients and identify industry trends and customer needs.

Job Summary

The role of an Audit Manager is critical in the success of our organization. In this position, you will oversee external financial statement audits for community bank and credit union clients. You will evaluate client internal control systems and develop recommendations to improve client processes, accounting systems, control structure, and procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan, supervise, and perform audits that meet or exceed client expectations.
  • Develop positive working relationships with clients, demonstrating a proactive interest in understanding their business needs.
  • Work on multiple engagements simultaneously and coordinate engagement workflow effectively.
  • Direct and control engagement planning process to successful completion.
  • Participate in billing and collection process.
  • Serve as a mentor and role model, providing guidance and support to staff members.
  • Comply with firm's practice management procedures/systems and maintain confidentiality.

Requirements:

  • Should be a Qualified Chartered Accountant or CPA.
  • 5+ years of recent audit experience (U.S. audit experience preferred) with a concentration in the financial services industry.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving ability, coupled with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience in developing and leading a team of professional auditors.
  • Ability to multitask and demonstrate commitment to continuous learning.
