Senior Financial Auditor - Construction Industry

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Financial Auditor to join our team. As a Senior Financial Auditor, you will be responsible for conducting financial statements audits in conformity with US GAAP and US GAAS.

Your primary focus will be on handling a team of accounting and auditing experts, conducting independent research, and building working relationships with peers, supervisors, and U.S. colleagues.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Audit Planning and Execution: Develop and implement comprehensive audit plans, ensuring thorough examination of financial statements and related information.
  • Team Leadership: Lead and manage a team of accounting and auditing experts, providing guidance, support, and constructive feedback to ensure successful completion of audit assignments.
  • Research and Analysis: Conduct independent research and analysis to identify areas of risk and opportunities for improvement, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
  • Communication and Reporting: Prepare clear, concise, and timely reports and presentations, effectively communicating audit findings and recommendations to clients and stakeholders.
Requirements

To succeed as a Senior Financial Auditor, you must possess the following qualifications and skills:

  • Education: Qualified Chartered Accountant or other qualified professionals in the accounting and tax fields.
  • Experience: Minimum 10 years of experience in US GAAP and GAAS, with a strong background in audits and financial statement preparation.
  • Technical Skills: Proficient in Caseware and Caseview, with knowledge of Microsoft Office applications and ability to learn new software quickly.
  • Languages: Fluency in English (written and spoken).
  • Soft Skills: Excellent communication, teamwork, and leadership skills, with the ability to meet deadlines and work under pressure.
Industry Experience

We are particularly interested in candidates with industry experience in the construction sector, preferably with a background in reviews and compilations.
