Job Title: Financial Operations Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Financial Operations Manager to join our team. As a key member of our finance department, you will be responsible for leading the corporate finance function for India and ensuring the timely and accurate reporting of financial information.

  • About the Role:

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in finance controllership and tax functions, with a minimum of 6 years of experience. They will possess excellent Excel modeling skills and hands-on expertise in ERP systems and process implementation. Additionally, they should have a clear understanding of financial planning, financial management, budgeting, forecasting, compliance, and business growth strategy.

  • Your Responsibilities Will Include:
  • Leading the corporate finance function for India and overseeing the external and internal reporting of financial information.
  • Managing the monthly close process, audits, and procurement process.
  • Familiarity with US GAAP/IFRS based financial standards, especially service revenue recognition.
  • Managing Treasury, payment gateway, and banking relationships.
  • Expertise in financial models, AOP, and ability to model complex business scenarios.
  • Understanding of unit-level metrics.
  • Familiarity with US and India taxes to ensure compliance and filings.

Requirements:

  • A Chartered Accountant with a minimum of 6 years of overall experience and 4 years in finance controllership/tax function.
  • Strong Excel modeling skills is a must.
  • Hands-on expertise on ERP Systems, process implementation, and familiarity with technical accounting standards i.e. GAAP/ IFRS etc.
  • Clear understanding of financial planning, financial management, budgeting, forecasting, compliances, business growth strategy etc.
  • Maturity to influence key stakeholders and work under pressure while ensuring quality output.
  • Excellent communication skills, ability to express complex and abstract ideas in a concise manner.
