Software Development Engineer II (SDE II)
OverviewThe ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and maintaining new systems that deliver innovative speech-backed visuals on screened devices.
Responsibilities- Develop features that present interactive visual content on our Echo Show, Echo Spot, and similar devices.
- Maintain existing systems and collaborate with other services and device teams as required.
- Ensure high availability and minimal latency of Alexa services at Amazon scale.
- Work on device frameworks, web services, APIs, large-scale data infrastructure, and more.
- At least 3 years of professional software development experience.
- Experience in design or architecture, including design patterns, reliability, and scaling.
- Knowledge of full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations.
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent.
