Network Engineer

Be a key player in making an impact at our global organization.

We are seeking a skilled Network Engineer to join our team and work on delivering exceptional customer service. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in network engineering, excellent communication skills, and a passion for staying up-to-date with the latest technologies.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide 24x7 support for Enterprise Networks of large global clients.
  • Work as part of a team to handle switching/wireless/DDI network operational/problem management issues.
  • Resolve trouble tickets, handle ticket escalation, monitor ticket queue, ensure assignment/resolution and closure.
  • Develop and maintain Method Of Procedure and/or Standard Operating Procedure documents.
  • Plan and execute Change Management processes.
  • Perform performance tuning of network devices and create Service Improvement Plans.
  • Plan and perform firmware upgrades.
  • Collaborate with hardware/software vendors to resolve problems.
  • Train and mentor junior engineers.
  • Act as an SME SPOC for certain network products.
  • Interface with customers on calls and lead technical meetings.
  • Assist in Root Cause Analysis (RCA).
  • Provide technical inputs for weekly/monthly customer service review reports.
  • Support business needs by taking on additional tasks as required.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 7 years of progressive, relevant experience in a complex network environment.
  • Cisco certification and Aruba/Juniper certification is an added advantage.
  • Bachelor's in Engineering - Computers/Electronics/Communication or related field.
  • Graduate/Post-Graduate in Science/Maths/IT or related streams with relevant technology experience.
  • Good communication skills - written as well as verbal.
  • Passion to work on core technology platform.
  • ITIL process awareness.
