Production Support Coordinator Job Description

The Production Support Coordinator is responsible for overseeing the daily operations and support of production systems, ensuring system reliability, availability, and performance.

This role involves managing the release process, coordinating with solutions architects, and ensuring seamless integration and deployment of new features and updates.

  • Monitor production systems, identify issues, and implement corrective actions to ensure system stability and performance.
  • Collaborate with IT teams and stakeholders to resolve production incidents promptly.
  • Maintain documentation of production issues, solutions, and best practices.

As a key member of our production support team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our production systems.

You will be responsible for monitoring production systems, identifying issues, and implementing corrective actions to ensure system stability and performance.

In addition, you will collaborate with IT teams and stakeholders to resolve production incidents promptly and maintain documentation of production issues, solutions, and best practices.

To succeed in this role, you must have a strong understanding of ITIL processes and best practices, as well as experience with release management tools and practices.

Familiarity with software development lifecycle (SDLC) methodologies and cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure) is also highly desirable.

You should have technical proficiency in system monitoring, troubleshooting, and performance tuning, as well as the ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.

Strong organizational and time-management skills are essential, as well as a detail-oriented approach with a focus on quality and accuracy.
