Job Description

A Cloud Solutions Architect plays a pivotal role in designing and implementing cloud-based solutions that cater to business needs.

  • This involves creating scalable, secure, and cost-effective cloud architectures using AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud platforms.
  • The Architect works closely with stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical cloud strategies, ensuring the best practices are followed and guiding cloud adoption initiatives.

Responsibilities:

  • Design cloud-based solutions, leveraging expertise in cloud architecture, networking, security, and DevOps practices.
  • Assess business requirements and develop technical cloud strategies to meet those needs.
  • Lead cloud migration, integration, and deployment projects, ensuring seamless execution and timely delivery.
  • Collaborate with development and operations teams to provide technical leadership and guidance on cloud adoption and strategy.
  • Optimize cloud costs, scalability, and reliability through continuous monitoring and improvement.
  • Stay up-to-date with emerging cloud technologies and industry trends, applying this knowledge to drive innovation and growth.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field is required.
  • Proven experience working with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) is essential.
  • Strong knowledge of cloud architecture, networking, security, and DevOps practices is necessary for success.
  • Proficiency in infrastructure-as-code tools (Terraform, CloudFormation) is highly desirable.
  • Excellent problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills are critical for collaboration and teamwork.
  • Cloud certifications (e.g., AWS Solutions Architect, Azure Architect) are highly valued.
