Job Role Summary

A highly skilled professional with expertise in reconciliation and risk management is required to supervise various processes and ensure seamless functioning of the unit.

  • The successful candidate will identify areas of risk and control, work with units to minimize them, and perform general ledger substantiation and certifications.
  • Responsibilities include monitoring daily reconciliations, ensuring timely and accurate regulatory reporting, highlighting risks, and resolving gaps through root cause analysis.
Key Accountabilities
  • Supervise recon processes, collaborate with units to mitigate risk, and perform GL substantiation and certifications.
  • Monitor daily reconciliations in a timely and accurate manner, identifying breaks and highlighting risks.
  • Ensure defined regulatory reporting is carried out accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Highlighting risks identified as part of performing reconciliations and necessary regulatory reporting.
  • Resolution of the gaps identified by carrying out a root cause analysis & ensuring a permanent fix is put in place.
  • Carry out an impact assessment and highlight items which can have an impact by way of introduction of a New Product launch.
  • Identifying areas wherein manual efforts are being carried out and work towards automation of the same.
  • Guide and help Operations units and branches by resolving their queries pertain to processes and accounts.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in any discipline.
  • Relevant experience in above-mentioned areas.
  • Experience in Spark framework is mandatory.
  • Strong knowledge of Recon and TB balancing.
