Financial Risk Specialist

Job Summary:

A seasoned Financial Risk Specialist is sought to identify, assess, and mitigate financial risks across various areas of the organization. This role involves conducting in-depth analyses of operational efficiencies, financial reliability, and compliance with relevant directives, regulations, policies, and procedures.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct thorough reviews of internal processes, identifying potential risk exposures and recommending mitigation strategies.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement enterprise-wide risk management plans.
  • Analyze accounting documentation, previous reports, process flowcharts, and other relevant materials to inform risk assessments.
  • Support the Head of Internal Audit in investigating fraud and other irregularities as required.
  • Ensure timely and accurate completion of audit plans, preparing and presenting reports on findings and recommendations.
  • Assist in preparing Audit Committee Reports and papers, providing key insights into organizational risk profiles.
  • Monitor management's interventions, conducting follow-up audits to verify effectiveness.
  • Continuously seek opportunities for process improvements and cost-saving initiatives through research and development of internal audit capabilities.

The ideal candidate will possess 2-3 years of experience as an Assistant Manager/Deputy Manager or 5-6 years of experience as a Manager in internal audit, with relevant qualifications such as CA/CPA. Prior experience in the manufacturing industry is highly desirable. Proficiency in SAP, MS Office, and other analytical tools is essential. Strong communication, presentation, and persuasion skills are also critical for success in this role.
