Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate and manage the Front Office to ensure seamless operations and exceptional customer service.
  • Supervise Front Office staff to ensure punctuality, uniform adherence, and high standards of service delivery.
  • Liaise with Reservations and Finance departments to ensure efficient credit procedures and accurate room management.
  • Develop and implement training programs to enhance staff skills and performance.
  • Monitor and maintain accurate records of guest interactions and staff performance.
  • Collaborate with management to achieve departmental goals and objectives.
  • Ensure the Front Office operates within established standards and procedures.
  • Manage guest correspondence and respond to inquiries in a timely and professional manner.
  • Coordinate with Housekeeping to ensure efficient room inventory and guest satisfaction.

Team Management:

  • Interview, select, and recruit Front Office staff.
  • Conduct performance reviews and develop staff training programs.
  • Prepare and maintain accurate records of staff performance and training.
  • Collaborate with management to develop departmental goals and objectives.
  • Ensure the Front Office maintains a positive and productive work environment.

Additional Responsibilities:

  • Maintain complete knowledge of hotel services, policies, and procedures.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices.
  • Attend training sessions and meetings as required.
  • Perform other reasonable duties assigned by management.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Hospitality or related field.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar capacity.
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Fluency in English; additional languages an asset.

Additional Information:

  • Experience with Opera or similar systems an asset.
  • Strong interpersonal and problem-solving abilities.
