Front Office Supervisor

Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and manage the Front Office to ensure seamless operations and exceptional customer service.
- Supervise Front Office staff to ensure punctuality, uniform adherence, and high standards of service delivery.
- Liaise with Reservations and Finance departments to ensure efficient credit procedures and accurate room management.
- Develop and implement training programs to enhance staff skills and performance.
- Monitor and maintain accurate records of guest interactions and staff performance.
- Collaborate with management to achieve departmental goals and objectives.
- Ensure the Front Office operates within established standards and procedures.
- Manage guest correspondence and respond to inquiries in a timely and professional manner.
- Coordinate with Housekeeping to ensure efficient room inventory and guest satisfaction.
Team Management:
- Interview, select, and recruit Front Office staff.
- Conduct performance reviews and develop staff training programs.
- Prepare and maintain accurate records of staff performance and training.
- Collaborate with management to develop departmental goals and objectives.
- Ensure the Front Office maintains a positive and productive work environment.
Additional Responsibilities:
- Maintain complete knowledge of hotel services, policies, and procedures.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices.
- Attend training sessions and meetings as required.
- Perform other reasonable duties assigned by management.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Hospitality or related field.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar capacity.
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
- Fluency in English; additional languages an asset.
Additional Information:
- Experience with Opera or similar systems an asset.
- Strong interpersonal and problem-solving abilities.
