Job Overview

The Front Office Operations Manager is a key role within the hotel, responsible for ensuring seamless day-to-day operations of the front desk, guest services, and team management.

About the Role

This position requires strong leadership and organizational skills to manage and coordinate various tasks, including room inventory, staff schedules, and guest correspondence. The successful candidate will also be responsible for maintaining high standards of professionalism, efficiency, and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

  • Operations Management: Ensure efficient and effective operation of the Front Office, adhering to established departmental standards and procedures.
  • Team Management: Lead, motivate, and develop a high-performing team, providing guidance on performance reviews, training programs, and staff scheduling.
  • Guest Services: Coordinate with Housekeeping to ensure requested rooms are cleaned according to arrival times, and handle all guest correspondences in a timely manner.
  • Communication: Liaise with various departments, including Reservations, Finance, and Maintenance, to ensure smooth communication and problem-solving.
  • Quality Control: Monitor and maintain high standards of service, appearance, and attitude among team members.
  • Training and Development: Develop and conduct staff training programs to enhance skills and knowledge, aligning with the changing needs of the business.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Hospitality or related field.
  • Proven experience in front office operations, preferably in a hotel setting.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
