Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Data Solutions Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining robust and scalable data pipelines using Azure services.

The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on engineering skills, with a solid understanding of data warehousing principles, data modeling, and ETL/ELT concepts. They will also have experience working with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality data solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Data Pipeline Development: Design, build, and maintain robust and scalable data pipelines using Azure services like Data Factory and Synapse Pipelines.
  • Data Modeling and Warehousing: Develop conceptual, logical, and physical data models for data warehouses and lakes within Azure ecosystem.
  • ETL/ELT Processes: Implement and optimize ETL and ELT processes to ensure efficient data movement.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • 4+ years of experience with key Azure data services including Data Factory, Synapse Analytics, Data Lake Storage, and Databricks.
  • Strong proficiency in SQL and at least one programming language such as Python or PySpark.
  • Solid understanding of data warehousing principles, data modeling, and ETL/ELT concepts.
  • CI/CD: Experience with version control systems like Git and Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment practices using Azure DevOps.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a focus on delivering reliable data solutions.
