Senior Voice Network Engineer

About the Role:

This is a challenging opportunity to join our organization as a Senior Voice Network Engineer. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing advanced level support for Cisco UCCE / UCCX / PCCE solutions and 3rd party call recording platforms.

  • Provide expertise in troubleshooting basic Cisco ICM/CCMP/CVP/CUIC issues.
  • Develop knowledge in creating MACD configurations for Cisco UCCE and IPT platforms.
  • Understand VOIP protocols such as SIP, H.323 and MGCP, and have knowledge of ITIL processes.
  • Gain insight into Cisco Voice network deployment models and understand the functioning of voice network devices.
  • Utilize VOIP and Performance Management Tools and have integration experience with other tools.
  • Understand Telecom infrastructure protocols like ISDN and analog signaling.
  • Work in a 24/7 business support environment.
  • Have experience working on Cisco Voice platforms.
  • Have work experience on CUCM/UCCE/UCCH/CVP platforms.
  • Develop strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Work with Third Party Providers to resolve telecommunication problems and OEMs for incident resolution.
  • Perform advanced remote/on-site troubleshooting activities including system design issues, upgrade plans, creation of technical product documentation, upgrades, and site coordination.
  • Serve as a point of contact for all service delivery issues/pending work/escalations.
  • Provide team support and process improvements through individual contributions.
  • Maintain and update knowledge base and documentation and initiate and implement process improvements.
  • Excellent communication and conversation skills (verbal and written), strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • UCCE or PCCE email and voice communication skills, teamwork, Power Point presentation/preparation, and Excel-related analytics.
  • 8-12 years of experience in Cisco UC, UCCE, Voice gateway, call management, Webex, CVP, VMware, patch management, release management.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Support the development and implementation of voice network strategies.
  2. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of voice solutions.
  3. Contribute to the development of training programs to enhance employee skills.
  4. Participate in process improvement initiatives to optimize business operations.
