Technical Lead - Battery Energy Systems

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Technical Director to lead the development of our battery energy storage systems from concept to commissioning.

The successful candidate will provide technical leadership on battery chemistries, power electronics, and system integration with renewable energy and grid infrastructure. This includes overseeing project feasibility studies, technical evaluations, and system sizing.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead design, development, and deployment of BESS projects.">
  • Provide technical expertise on battery technologies, power electronics, and system integration.">
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards, safety codes, and regulatory frameworks.">
  • Collaborate with stakeholders including utilities, EPC contractors, and technology providers.">
  • Develop strategies for O&M (operation & maintenance), performance optimization, and lifecycle management.">
  • Manage and mentor a multidisciplinary team of engineers and technicians.">
  • Stay up-to-date with emerging storage technologies, market trends, and policies to maintain competitive advantage.">

Qualifications & Experience

To be considered for this role, candidates must have:

  • A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Power Systems, Renewable Energy, or related field.">
  • 10+ years of experience in energy storage, renewable energy, or related power/utility sector, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.">
  • Proven track record in BESS system design, integration, and commissioning (utility-scale preferred).">
  • Strong understanding of grid codes, safety standards, and energy markets.">
  • Hands-on experience with EMS (Energy Management Systems), SCADA, and controls.">
  • Excellent leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills.">
