Chief Innovation Strategist

We are seeking a seasoned and innovative leader to spearhead our next-generation product development initiatives. As the Chief Innovation Strategist, you will be responsible for driving cross-functional teams to deliver cutting-edge products that meet the evolving needs of our customers.
Key responsibilities include leading multidisciplinary teams, overseeing end-to-end product development, and providing strategic technical leadership to define system architecture and guide technical decision-making.
Additional key responsibilities include fostering a culture of innovation, ensuring seamless integration across electrical, mechanical, and embedded components, and overseeing testing, validation, and debugging.
The successful candidate should have a strong background in product innovation, systems engineering, and cross-functional team leadership, with experience in electronics, embedded systems, and mechanical design.
Required skills and qualifications include proficiency in electronic circuit design, simulation, and analysis, as well as PCB design, schematic capture, and multi-layer board development.
Additionally, the ideal candidate should have familiarity with embedded systems architecture, microcontroller platforms, and firmware development workflows, as well as knowledge of ruggedized mechanical design, including IP65/IP68-rated enclosures, thermal design, and environmental sealing.
Other required skills and qualifications include proficiency in DFM (Design for Manufacturing) and DFA (Design for Assembly) across electrical and mechanical components, hands-on experience with prototyping and validation, and a strong understanding of product lifecycle management (PLM), BOM management, and technical documentation processes.
Preferred skills and qualifications include prior experience in defence, industrial, or high-reliability product development involving integrated hardware, firmware, and mechanical systems, as well as additional certifications in product design, embedded systems, systems engineering, or project management.
