**Production Merchandiser Role**

Job Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Production Merchandiser to oversee the production process, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality products.

  • **Material Sourcing and Sample Coordination:**

Liaise with design team to organize sample development, fabric procurement, and approvals.

**In-House Manufacturing Oversight:**

Monitor sample production, resolve technical issues, and ensure quality standards are met.

**Product Costing and Efficiency Management:**

Work on product costing and optimal selling price. Monitor fabric usage, trims, and production processes for efficiency.

**Quality Assurance:**

Conduct regular quality checks, highlight defects, and implement corrective measures.

**Production Reporting:**

Maintain accurate production tracking documents and provide timely updates to design, sourcing, and management teams.

**Cross-functional Coordination:**

Work with design, sales, sourcing, and logistics teams for alignment on delivery timelines, material availability, and order fulfillment.

**Production Planning and Follow-up:**

Manage and track production schedule from development through bulk manufacturing.

**Technical Documentation:**

Ensure all tech packs, BOMs, and production specifications are complete and accurate.

Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Fashion Merchandising, Textile Engineering, or related field.
  • 4+ years experience in apparel production merchandising, preferably in activewear or sportswear segments.
  • Strong understanding of garment construction, materials, and production processes.
  • Hands-on experience working in in-house manufacturing environments.
  • Excellent organizational, time management, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficient in MS Office (Excel) and production tracking systems.
  • Strong communication skills to coordinate across teams.
  • High attention to detail and ability to work under tight deadlines.
  • Knowledge of innovative practices and raw material vendors is a plus.
