Production Planning Specialist

Drive business growth by optimizing global production planning and raw material blending to minimize costs and maximize quality.

Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Create blend schedules for pet coke feedstock across operations to enhance efficiency.
  • Monitor GPC inventories, CPC production rates, and shipment schedules to ensure alignment.
  • Analyze sourcing options and logistics to reduce costs while meeting CPC quality specifications.
  • Develop and maintain business models using AI tools and Linear Programming (LP) for predictive planning.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams globally to achieve strategic objectives.
  • Manage SAP transactions and generate reports on production, inventory, and key performance indicators (KPIs).
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Chemical or Industrial Engineering or a related field.
  • 5–8 years of experience in planning and blending, preferably in the carbon/metallurgical industries.
  • Strong skills in LP modeling and analysis.
  • Proficiency in SAP and advanced Excel.
  • Familiarity with AI tools for data analysis and optimization.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and adaptability in a global team environment.
