Finance Associate Role Overview

As a Finance Associate at our organization, you will play a crucial part in supporting our mission to enhance security and convenience for millions of families worldwide.

This role is ideal for an ambitious individual who can manage complex financial processes, analyze data, and communicate insights effectively.

  • Accounting & Reporting:

Handle end-to-end accounting and process viz. P2P, R2R, O2C for respective Business Units (BU). Responsible for completion of accurate and timely monthly financial close. Compliance with GAAP (Ind-AS), enforce company accounting policies, practices, and internal controls, ensuring consistency in accounting. Deliver accurate books of accounts - P&L, Balance Sheet, and Cash Flow.

  • Financial Planning & Analysis:

Support specific BU with end-to-end finance operational support. Develop and manage financial models to forecast revenue, expenses, and profitability for the specific BU. Provide the business with timely, accurate, and insightful analysis of results. Conduct in-depth financial analysis, identifying key trends, risks, and opportunities to drive strategic decision-making.

  • Collaboration & Stakeholder Management:

Work closely with cross-functional teams, including Sales, Marketing, Product, and Operations, to ensure alignment on financial goals and initiatives. Build strong relationships with key stakeholders, both internal and external, including investors, partners, and vendors.

  • Skills, Qualifications & Personality:

Self-driven, results-oriented individual with a positive outlook and impeccable integrity. Proficiency in financial modeling, accounting, and reporting software. Candidate should be well-versed in dealing with auditors, consultants, and advanced expertise in MS Office, including PowerPoint, Excel (Pivots, Lookup, Conditional Functions, Power BI, etc.). Outstanding communication and presentation skills. High-energy with a sense of urgency, accuracy, and attention to detail. Excellent analytical, reasoning, decision-making, and problem-solving skills.

  • Education & Experience:

CA Inter/CMA qualification with 1-3 years of PQE experience. Start-up experience and scaling up a start-up through Series-A, Series-B funding efforts preferred. Knowledge of Nodal Account, Payment Gateway Reconciliations, E-Commerce transactions preferable.
