Job Overview

We are seeking a highly competent Cloud Operations Lead and Architect to work closely with development teams, integrating projects into the production cloud environment and ensuring ongoing support.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Experience working in an agile product-based company
  • 8+ years of experience with strong Linux/Unix Admin skills, including patching and configuration
  • At least 4+ years of experience in a DevOps role, designing and managing highly available AWS RDS (Postgresql, MySQL) in a significant production environment
  • Strong grasp of automation tools such as Puppet, Chef, Ansible or similar
  • Strong scripting experience (Shell, Bash, Ruby, JavaScript, Python)
  • Experience with Elastic Beanstalk, SQS, SES, SNS, S3, EC2, Autoscaling, Cloudfront, VPC
  • Designing and managing large-scale high-reliability servers
  • Defining IAM roles and policies, database system administration (Postgres and/or MySQL)
  • Strong Linux/Amazon/CentOS/Ubuntu system administration skills, including deployment and maintenance
  • Experience with GIT, SVN, and familiarity with Continuous Integration tools such as Jenkins and Continuous Deployment
  • Deploying and maintaining largescale high-reliability servers
  • Building zero-downtime deployment solutions in cloud environments
  • Non-functional testing, security and performance testing, etc
  • Being an active member of technical forums and groups
