About the Role

As a leading organization in data management, we are seeking an experienced Kafka Administrator to join our team.

  • We are looking for a highly skilled professional with extensive experience in managing and maintaining large-scale Kafka clusters. If you have a strong background in operating complex systems, optimizing performance, and troubleshooting issues, we want to hear from you
Key Responsibilities:

The successful candidate will be responsible for deploying and upgrading high-availability Kafka clusters to ensure optimal performance and fault tolerance. This includes automating the installation and configuration of Kafka clusters using tools like Ansible, Chef, and Terraform.

  • An ideal candidate would also have expertise in identifying and resolving critical production issues, implementing efficient strategies, and utilizing relevant tools to minimize downtime and optimize Kafka performance.
  • In addition, they would be responsible for configuring MirrorMaker for effective data replication between two data centers, ensuring robust disaster recovery mechanisms.
  • This role involves deploying and managing Provectus Kafka UI on a Kubernetes cluster for real-time monitoring and management of Kafka infrastructure.
  • The selected candidate should also integrate Sigma Registry and deploy multiple Kafka Connectors to facilitate seamless data flow and enhance the scalability of Kafka-based systems.
  • They would be responsible for managing user access control, creating topics, and implementing end-to-end security with SSL/TLS for secure Kafka operations.
  • Furthermore, the candidate should design and manage Kafka infrastructure to optimize message processing efficiency, reduce latency, and improve overall system performance.
  • Finally, they would conduct thorough performance testing to optimize partitioning, replication, and retention policies in Kafka environments.
