Key Responsibilities:
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
- Developing and implementing data governance strategies and policies.
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to identify and address data-related issues.
- Providing guidance and support on data management best practices.
- Compiling and tracking progress on implementation of data management strategies.
- Representing the data governance team in cross-functional meetings, communicating key policies and requirements.
Requirements:
- 3-5 years' experience in data management, information management, or a related field (e.g., financial services).
- Strong communication skills (written and verbal).
- Attention to detail and ability to document complex data management requirements.
- Experience in business analysis, process improvement, and working with cross-functional teams.
Nice to Have:
- Degree in Information Systems, Business Administration, or related field.
- Knowledge of data protection/privacy regulations and experience with data privacy laws.
- Familiarity with database/cloud technologies, AI, and reporting tools (Tableau/Power BI).
