Our organization is seeking a highly skilled Robotics Specialist to join our team.

Job Description:

The selected candidate will be responsible for designing and implementing cutting-edge motion control systems, utilizing BLDC motors and advanced sensor fusion techniques. The ideal candidate will have experience working with real-time algorithms and have a strong understanding of control theory.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement high-precision gimbal and motor control systems for real-time laser targeting.
  • Design robust BLDC motor control algorithms with microsecond precision.
  • Collaborate with the AI and perception team to integrate weed detection with precision actuation.
  • Build sensor fusion pipelines combining IMU, GNSS, RTK, odometry, and custom sensors.
  • Test and tune control systems in real-world field conditions.
  • Scale your work to multi-laser, multi-unit robotic platforms for agricultural applications.
  • Implement safety mechanisms, redundancy, and fail-safe protocols for field deployment.
  • Work closely with mechanical engineers to integrate actuators, gimbals, and hardware subsystems.

Requirements:

  • Experience with BLDC motor control and precision positioning systems.
  • Strong knowledge of control theory (PID, adaptive control, state-space).
  • Hands-on programming experience in C++/Python on embedded systems.
  • Experience with ROS/ROS2 and communication protocols (CAN, Ethernet).
  • Ability to work at the intersection of hardware, software, and field testing.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in agricultural robotics, precision agriculture, or outdoor robotics.
  • Knowledge of laser systems and safety standards.
  • Exposure to machine learning integration in control systems.
  • Experience with hardware-in-the-loop testing or ruggedized system design.
