Role Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Automation Specialist to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity for a highly motivated individual to contribute to the development of automation tools and scripts using Python.

About the Role:

This role involves designing, developing, and implementing automated test cases using Python and working with Android APIs. The successful candidate will have hands-on experience in python scripting and automation, as well as expertise in working with Android APIs.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Study and understand the customer's in-house automation tool and R&S provided automation manager.
  2. Perform feasibility study of automating the targeted test cases and come up with a phase-wise plan to automate them.
  3. Modify and/or develop new scripts using Python to automate targeted test cases that are currently running in semi-automated mode on R&S network simulators.
  4. Candidate must have hands-on experience in python scripting and automation and expertise in working with Android APIs.
  5. Understanding of R&S network simulators and associated testing frameworks is a bonus.
  6. Candidate will be an independent contributor and needs to be highly motivated and ready to work in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements:

  • Hands-on experience in python scripting and automation.
  • Expertise in working with Android APIs.
  • Understanding of R&S network simulators and associated testing frameworks (bonus).
