Job Role: Cloud Infrastructure Engineering Team Lead

We are seeking an experienced professional to oversee mission-critical cloud infrastructure for global clients. This role requires providing 24x7 managed support for these cloud environments, leading a team and ensuring customer service level agreements (SLAs) are exceeded.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Build strong relationships with partners to identify opportunities and drive growth.
  • Work closely with DevOps and engineering teams to provide technical expertise and guidance.
Ticket Management and Escalation:
  • Review tickets and escalate issues to management when necessary.
Team Oversight and Performance Evaluation:
  • Oversee a team of Cloud Engineers and provide technical expertise and guidance as needed.
  • Evaluate team members' performance on a regular basis and provide feedback.
Customer Interaction and Support:
  • Interact with customers via tickets, calls, emails, and periodic sync-up calls.
Mandatory Skills:
  • A minimum of 10 years of experience in providing L3 technical support for a cloud-first data center or cloud support services organization.
  • In-depth knowledge of cloud, containers, virtualization, and its supporting technologies and concepts.
  • Hands-on experience with Linux, MySQL, Vmware/KVM, and other on-prem cloud technologies.
  • Experience with monitoring systems (Prometheus/Nagios/Zabbix/SolarWinds/ManageEngine etc.)
  • Strong working knowledge of Storage, Networking, Backup, and Bash.
  • Excellent communication skills with clear verbal and written articulation.
  • Previous experience leading a team of at least 4 people in this role.
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
