Cloud Infrastructure Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Cloud Infrastructure Specialist to design, implement and manage cloud-based infrastructure solutions for our organization.

This is a challenging role that requires strong technical skills and experience in managing Azure services, disaster recovery activities, and cloud infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in DevOps engineering, with expertise in Azure cloud services, CI/CD pipelines, and infrastructure as code (IaC).

Job Description:

  • Azure Services Administration: Expertly administer Azure services, managing diverse services on the Azure cloud platform, including server administration in both Windows and Linux.
  • Disaster Recovery and Business Continuity: Design and implement best practices for disaster recovery activities, ensuring high availability and data integrity.
  • Azure Monitor and Log Analytics: Configure and integrate Azure Monitor and Log Analytics to monitor and manage application performance and security.
  • Azure Active Directory Management: Administer Azure Active Directory services, ensuring secure identity and access management across platforms.
  • Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Implement and maintain infrastructure using Terraform Templates for automated provisioning and deployment.
  • Containerization and Orchestration: Utilize Docker and Kubernetes for containerization and orchestration of applications.
  • Automation and Scripting: Automate operational processes using PowerShell and Azure CLI for efficient management of Azure systems.
  • Security and Compliance: Implement security best practices, ensuring compliance with organizational policies and procedures.
  • Database Management: Manage and optimize Azure SQL or Cosmos DB, ensuring high availability and performance tuning.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or related fields.
  • Experience: Minimum 7 years of hands-on experience as a DevOps Engineer with a focus on Azure cloud services and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Certification: Preferred AZ-400 Azure DevOps Engineer Professional certification.
