Job Title: AWS Architect

Achieve success as a highly skilled AWS Architect by spearheading the design and implementation of cloud computing solutions.

This pivotal role is focused on delivering secure, scalable, and efficient infrastructure that meets the needs of our manufacturing environments.

With a strong emphasis on innovation and problem-solving, you will work closely with cross-functional teams to develop cutting-edge cloud architectures.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and deploy robust, highly available, and fault-tolerant systems on AWS
  • Collaborate with engineers and architects to integrate cloud services into existing IT infrastructure
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation for AWS-based solutions
  • Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and industry trends in cloud computing
  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance cloud architecture and delivery processes

Requirements:

  • 7-10+ years of experience in IT infrastructure, with a significant focus on manufacturing environments
  • AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Professional certification is mandatory
  • Hands-on expertise with core AWS services, including EC2, VPC, S3, RDS, AWS Backup, and Direct Connect
  • Proven experience leading at least one large-scale migration from a traditional data center or hosting provider to AWS
  • Strong understanding of production constraints and shop floor systems (MES/SCADA)

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Direct experience in a manufacturing setting
  • Well-versed in architecting complex hybrid-cloud environments
  • Experience with manufacturing data collection systems like AC4D/Plant Manager and applications like AutoCount
