Job Title: Tax Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Tax Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting assessment proceedings with tax authorities, liaising with tax authorities for ongoing matters, drafting rectification applications and related submissions, conducting research on direct tax and transfer pricing issues, preparing technical submissions, preparing replies to be filed before tax authorities, preparing and filing corporate tax returns, independently handling TDS returns, preparing advance tax computations based on estimates, and assisting in advising on international tax matters.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support assessment proceedings with tax authorities.
  • Liaise with tax authorities for ongoing matters.
  • Draft rectification applications and related submissions.
  • Conduct research on direct tax and transfer pricing issues, and prepare technical submissions.
  • Prepare replies to be filed before tax authorities.
  • Prepare and file corporate tax returns.
  • Independently handle TDS returns.
  • Prepare advance tax computations based on estimates.
  • Assist in advising on international tax matters.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Qualified Chartered Accountant (2021–2024 batch).
  • Relevant tax experience (Big 4 preferred) and/or MNC.
  • Exposure to corporate tax and international taxation.
  • Strong knowledge of corporate tax and international tax regulations.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities; attention to detail.
  • Business acumen with adaptability in dynamic environments.
