US Business Tax Manager Position Overview

Our organization seeks a seasoned Certified Public Accountant (CPA) and/or Enrolled Agent (EA) with extensive knowledge of business tax regulations to fill this crucial role.

Job Responsibilities:
  • Tax Compliance:
    • Prepare and sign various tax returns for partnerships, corporations, and other entities.
    • Maintain up-to-date awareness of the latest tax laws, regulations, and filing requirements.
    • Conduct comprehensive tax research and analysis to ensure accuracy.
  • Tax Planning and Advisory:
    • Provide strategic tax planning advice to clients, identifying opportunities for tax optimization and cost-saving strategies.
    • Offer guidance on tax-efficient business structures, deductions, and credits to help clients achieve their financial goals.
  • Financial Reporting and Analysis:
    • Assist clients with bookkeeping tasks, ensuring accurate recording of financial transactions.
    • Generate financial statements, balance sheets, and income statements using QuickBooks Online and Wave.
    • Perform periodic financial analysis and provide insightful recommendations to clients.
  • Client Communication and Relationship Building:
    • Develop strong relationships with clients through exceptional communication skills and prompt issue resolution.
    • Communicate effectively with new clients and deliver high-quality projects on time.
  • Process Improvement and Standardization:
    • Develop and implement efficient processes and standard operating procedures (SOPs) for firm operations.
    • Streamline workflow and identify areas for improvement to enhance efficiency and productivity.
  • Training and Development:
    • Provide guidance and mentorship to junior employees, assisting in their professional growth.
    • Conduct training sessions on tax regulations, software tools, and best practices.
    • Review the work of junior team members and offer constructive feedback for improvement.
    Qualifications:
    • Licensed Certified Public Accountant (CPA) and/or Enrolled Agent (EA).
    • Demonstrated experience in preparing and signing various tax forms.
    • Strong knowledge of business tax regulations, laws, and compliance requirements.
    • Proficiency in tax planning and advisory services.
    • Experience with bookkeeping tasks and financial reporting.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
    • Proven ability to develop and implement processes and SOPs.
    • Ability to effectively teach and mentor junior employees.
